Since its inauguration in 1992 dedicated to the study, preservation and dissemination of Nature within the sphere of the Balearic Islands. Its permanent exhibition consists of two sections: History of Natural Science in the Balearic Islands. Naturalists of the Balearics from the Enlightenment to the present day; Paleontology: fossils, a look in the past; and, Alive island, a look at the Balearic biodiversity.
