The Polish pianist Agnieszka Korpyta is the protagonist of the second concert of Pianino 2019. A concert that will also serve as the presentation of the Piano Pleyel 1851 by Amerigo-Olivier Fadini, in charge of its recent restoration. The XII International Festival of Classical Piano Music is celebrated in the Cell of Frédéric Chopin and George Sand of the Cartuja de Valldemossa with five concerts from May 18 to June 15.

Agnieszka Korpyta began studying piano at age 7, entering as a Master of Arts at the Warsaw Chopin Fryderyk Music University under the tutelage of the famous Polish pianist Ewa Pobłocka (piano) and Maja Nosowska (chamber music).

As a young talent, she was awarded a scholarship by the prestigious institutes, such as Pro Bono Poloniae, the Adam Mickiewicz Cultural Institute and the Julian Cochran Foundation. During her musical career she has participated in piano courses led by recognized masters such as Dang Thai Son, Aleksiej Orłowiecki, Nikolai Demidenko, Tobias Koch, Andrzej Jasiński, Boris Berman, Jerzy Marchwiński, Fabio Bidini, Paolo Giaccometti, K. In addition to the soloist performances, she dedicates herself to chamber music, integrating with the Chilean pianist Javier Malebrán the Temperamento Piano Duo.

Apart from modern piano, Agnieszka Korpyta is fascinated with 19th century pianos, and had the honor of playing in the public presentations of the instruments made by Olivier Amerigo Fadini and Paul Mc Nulty.
