In 1919 the villa de Son Macià was founded, by people from Manacor, Felanitx, Artà, Palma, Cas Concos, Sant Llorenç des Cardassar and Puigpunyent, who arrived for the construction of the temple and the first houses of this core of Manacor. The Centenari Festivities now remember these beginnings with a program full of activities that take place from August 8 to 24 with very different proposals for everyone.
