The Brazilian artist Keila Alaver (Paraná, 1970) made her residency last September at the Addaya Centre d'Art Contemporani and decided to stay in Alaró for a few more months, undertaking a research work that she captures in this exhibition.
The aim is to collect objects representative of the popular culture of Alaró that are disappearing little by little from the market replaced by chain production. For this, Keila Alaver has worked with typical materials marketed in the traditional and local store of the town.
