It is the first time that this Argentine rock band sets foot on the island of Mallorca, with its unmistakable fusion and alternative style that mixes Caribbean rhythms like cumbia, ska, hip hop, reggae, punk and rock. Las Manos de Filippi arrive at Sa Possessió in a concert organized by Produccionns 9 Circ in which will also perform La Barraca Sound System, Combo Bulla and Base Sur, that will finish the party to dance rhythm.
Hernán Carlos de Vega (a street musician) and Gabriel Hermo (plastic artist) created Las Manos de Filppi in 1992, joining others years later to the current line-up: Hernán Carlos de Vega 'Cabra' (voice), Germán 'Pecho 'Anzoátegui (trumpet and voice), Pablo Marchetti (machines and chorus), Christian Fabrizio (drums), Guido Duran (bass and choruses) and Juan M. Agostino (guitar).
It is the most emblematic Argentine band of the workers' struggle, with hymns like Organizacion or Sr. Cobranza, within the 1998 album Arriba las manos, esto es el Estado. They also stand out for their special and delirious staging.
Las Manos de Filippi is on tour presenting its latest album, M.A.C.R.I (2016), a revolutionary cocktail with ingredients such as salsa, cumbia, reguee, ska, punk and a lot of guasa.
They perform accompanied by the powerful live act of the Mallorcan Ska band La Barraca Sound System. As an end of the party, everyone will dance with Combo Bulla and Base Sur.
