Music, literature, art, markets, traditions, landscape, gastronomy ... these elements are combined in the new edition of Wine Days Mallorca, a fair organized by the Designation of Origin Binissalem and which offers a different way to visit the island through wine tourism.
Wine Days Mallorca 2018 begins on Saturday May 12 with the Fiesta Wine Days at the Claustre de Sant Francesc in Palma. There will be tasting of wines from the 10 DO Binissalem wineries accompanied by author tapas prepared by the chefs: Miquel Calent, María Salinas, José Cortés, Rodrigo Vallejo and the pastry chef Maties Miralles. The quality products of the Islands will participate (DO Oli de Mallorca, DO Oliva de Mallorca and Ass. Forners i Pastissers). The performances of Pedro Adrover and Maria la Caria (La Voz) will liven up the evening.
At 8 o'clock in the afternoon a toast of DO Pla i Llevant i DO Binissalem will be held on the occasion of the DO Wine Movement Day.
Wine Days 2018 continues until May 20 with an extensive program of cultural activities that allow touring the five municipalities that are part of the Denomination of Origin Binissalem: Binissalem, Consell, Santa Maria del Camí, Sencelles and Santa Eugènia.
