This festival, created in the 1980’s, is celebrated the fourth Sunday of August in Lloret de Vistalegre to promote the consumption of figs. After a solemn mass, the inhabitants of the village meet in the main square to toast cold meat such as botifarrons (blood sausage) and llonganises (sobrasada, a sort of spicy pork sausage) in the foguerons (bonfires) accompanied by dry figs.
