This is a novel initiative launched in July 2012 by Mind the Art (http://www.mindtheart.es) and the asociación Arte sostenible (Sustainable Art Association) (http://www.artesostenible.org) to promote independent visual artists, both national and foreign. It is an art fair where the participating artists display their work in hotel rooms, in which they can also stay for the duration of the event and even share them.
The benefits of sales are entirely for the artist, who only has to pay for the rent of the room. Although this may also result free of charge by participating in a sponsorship program designed for that purpose. The first edition was held at Hotel Palau Sa Font de Palma, a XVI century building that has reserved 20 of its rooms to host this pioneer event in Mallorca.
