Can Fondo is a gothic style building restored during the XVI century, which can be seen in the renaissance arches and domes and also in the windows of the facade. In the late twentieth century it was bought by the City Council of Alcúdia and in 2004 it became the cultural center it is today. It works as an exhibition venue and Documentation Centre Bartomeu Serra i Martí (1922-1983), historian and favorite son of the city. Also houses the Municipal Archives.
