The visit to the Royal Monastery of Valldemossa includes the church, of neoclassic style and with frescoes by Fray Manuel Bayeu (brother of Francisco Bayeu, brother in law of Goya), the pharmacy, with a collection of 135 ceramic Catalan jars from the seventeenth and eighteenth century, the Palace of King Sancho, the Priory Cell, the Chopin and George Sand Museum, the Municipal Museum, and the Museum of Contemporary Art, which occupies the top floor. It contains a collection of paintings and prints by some of the most significant European painters of the twentieth-century, including Pablo Picasso and Joan Miró.
