The Aragonese company Los Titiriteros de Binéfar brings this glove puppet and object theater show to the 24th edition of the Festival Internacional Teatre de Teresetes de Mallorca. It is directed by Paco Paricio, with Pablo Borderías and Eva Paricio as puppeteer.
Chorpatélicos is a musical poetry show with poetry and songs by Federico García Lorca, León Felipe, Rafael Alberti, Nicolás Guillén, Gerardo Diego, Ramón Gómez de la Serna, Gloria Fuertes, Hermanos Rincón, M. Elena Walsh and Vainica Doble.
The title is a creation of Lorca himself, who, seeing some children having fun playing, said to them: “How chorpatelic you are!”. Language: Spanish. For family audiences from 4 years old.
The 24th edition of the Festival Internacional Teatre de Teresetes de Mallorca will be held from May 16 to 22 with a total of 56 performances (29 in Palma and 27 in municipalities on the island) by 21 professional companies from Canada, Slovakia, France , Mexico, Czech Republic, Andalusia, Aragon, Catalonia and
Majorca. Two of the shows will premiere in Spain and 11 in the Balearic Islands.
