'Do you know the country where the lemon trees bloom?'

The title of this concert is taken from a famous poem by Goethe, Mignon. Waltraud Mücher (mezzosoprano) and Suzanne Bradbury (piano) perform works by Franz Schubert, Robert Schumann (op. 39, 'In der Fremde'), Xavier Montsalvatge (Canciones Negras), Ben Moore and Arnold Schoenberg (Cabaret-Songs).
