The Mallorcan missionary Fray Junipero Serra (Petra, 1713-Monterrey, 1784) was the architect of the evangelization and colonization of Alta California, in the United States, where he founded and chaired nine other Spanish missions and presided over another fifteen. This exhibition covers the figure of the Blessed since childhood in Mallorca until his evangelical work in the United States. It is promoted by the former Confraternity of Our Lady of Bethlehem, Brotherhood of the Mercy and Blessed Junipero Serra, and has the support of the Bishopric of Mallorca, Palma City Council and Consell de Mallorca.

In the opening ceremony of the exhibition, the Municipal Band of Palma will offer a concert tribute to Father Serra under the title Way Real.
