'Imagine a circle' by Reinhard Roy
Individual exhibition by German artist Reinhard Roy (Klitten, 1948) in Felanitx. His work is part of concrete art, or concretism, a trend of abstract painting that was developed during the 1930s driven by the multifaceted Max Bill. In Imagine a circle, the artist shows his latest works.
Reinhard Roy studied at the Halle College of Art and Design and in 1976 won his first prize from the Design Department in Berlin. Later he also won the German Kahnweiler Foundation prize for Painting and Graphics, among other distinctions.
His works have been seen in different countries with a total of 16 individual and 84 collective exhibitions alongside artists of different nationalities.
