The last concert of this first part of the XIII Festival de Música Clásica Pianino 2020 is starring the Polish pianist Krzysztof Stypulkowski. A morning concert that also celebrates the anniversary of the birth of Frédéric Chopin, who was born on March 1, 1810 in Zelazowa Wola (Grand Duchy of Warsaw).
Krzysztof Stypulkowski, based in Spain for years, combines his facet of concert with his teaching work at the Conservatory of Music of Castilla y León in Salamanca. In 2016, his album Live in Zaragoza, recorded with cellist Georgina Sánchez Torres, won the Independent Music Award for Best Classical Music Album of the Year.
In Valldemossa, he will execute a program dedicated to Chopin:
2 Night Op. 32
Fantasia-Impromptu Op. 66
Polonaise Op. 44
4 Mazurkas Op. 17
Scherzo No. 2 Op. 31
The El XIII International Classical Music Festival is celebrated in the Cell of Frédéric Chopin and George Sand de la Cartuja de Valldemossa with three concerts, in this first part, from February 11 to March 1.
