Released for the first time in 1970, in it the author portrays through a flow diagram, the various obstacles which the veteran employee of an office must pass to meet with his boss and unsuccessfully ask for a raise. Georges Perec (1936-1982) was one of the most important French writers of the twentieth century, leader of the Nouveau roman and considered a cult author.
