The Mallorcan artist borrows the title of Italo Calviño - Invisible Cities a book of fiction published in 1972- in his project conceived for Area 1 of Casal Solleric. A photographic series that reflect the breadth and versatility of the urban phenomenon through its multiple appearances.
Xisco Bonnin (Palma, 1967) addresses the contemporary concept in a horizontal way taking us into different neighborhoods and cities, but in none particularly. We only discover the transformed New York profile on a fateful day.
The exhibition consists of three thematic sections: The underground city, the city continues and the show city.
