Cruïlla is the title of the new album by the Mallorcan band Salvatge Cor, which is now presenting for the first time on the island as part of the Fundació Mallorca Literària's program La lluna en vers with the special participation of Júlia Colom as guest voice. The concert is held in the courtyard of the Teatre Principal de Santanyí.
The album opens a new creative stage for Salvatge Cor, founded in 2013 by the poet, producer and composer Llorenç Romera Pericàs. In 2016 they won the premio Art Joven de Música Contemporània de les Illes Balears, in 2017 el Premio Juventud del concurso Sona9 contest and in 2020 they came second in the Palma Pop-Rock contest.
If in the first years of its trajectory the group defined its post-Bowie pop style, Cruïda (2022) delves into superpop and neo-soul. In addition to Romera Pericàs, the group is currently made up of Pere Font (bass), Miquel Marquet (drums), Sara Mingolla (keyboard) and Faust Morell (guitar).
