After the screening of the work Microcosm of Miao Xiaochun in 2014, this summer Es Baluard will present in the Aljub Michael Najjar. Who gave the sponge to wipe away the entire horizon? Individually themed show by German artist Michael Najjar (Landau, 1966), who focuses his work on elements of our modern society controlled by computers and information technology.
Since 2011, Najjar works in the series Outer Space, based on the most innovative progress on space travel and exploration. The exhibition shows several chapters and situations from his extensive training as an astronaut to perform his own space flight, which will be the essential part of this series.
Three videos are projected, Equilibrium (2013), Spacewalk (2013) and Skyfall (2015): t. The latter is now on display for the first time in Spain.
