The Barceló Foundation presents this exhibition by Valencian painter Miguel Aguilar y Villalonga (1936-2018), based in Mallorca since he was 30 years old. Formed by 45 works, he summarizes his artistic career that, according to his relatives, he created from viewing his soul.
Miguel Aguilar always showed a special inclination for landscape and for capturing the marinas and towns of the interior of the island, recreating himself in light, color, forms and rhythms. He also went through a stage in his career characterized by the hyperrealism of fruits and still lifes, reflecting his training as a miniaturist.
