The Nit de l'Art (Art Night) marks the beginning of the art season. Was the first event of its kind held in Europe, initiated in 1996 promoted by two associations of gallery owners: Art Palma and the Independent Association of Art Galleries Baleares (AIGAB).
It is an artistic, ludic and social event, in which the people of Palma take to the streets and enjoy until midnight the proposals offered by art galleries, museums and cultural centers. In this edition involves 20 exhibition spaces in Palma and most of them inaugurate exhibitions with which they open the new season.
This year also held roundtables, screenings and guided itineraries of contemporary art.
In the Nit de l’Art will be musical performances by Jansky & artistic performance by Xiscovery channel (Plaça del Born), Nick Wave (Plaça Chopin) and Blackash (Plaça del Mercat).
