Within the celebrations of the centenary of the death of Archduke Luis Salvador, considered the first and most important ambassador for the pre-touristic Mallorca, takes place this cycle which aims to bring his figure closer through films that reflect the environment, historical context and cultural codes of the era in which he lived.
The four films scheduled will be presented by prominent representatives of the world of culture of Mallorca.

February 25: Senso (1954), directed by Luchino Visconti. Presented by writer and professor Gabriel Janer Manila.
March 4: El destino de Sissi (The fate of Sissi, 1957), directed by Ernst Marischka. Submitted by Joan Andreu, president of the Association of Friends of the Archduke.
March 11: Mayerling (1968), directed by Terence Young. Submitted by Miquel Cristōfol Sbert, film historian.
March 18: Coronel Redl (Colonel Redl, 1984), directed by István Szabó. By Maria Magdalena Brotons, Professor of Film History at the Universitat de les Illes Balears.
