Fàbrica Ramis receives the Catalan singer-songwriter and guitarist in his dual role of musician and poet. Wednesday he will present his first book of poems, Catacumba umbilical (66rpm Edicions), and today he will offer a rock concert with his band, formed by Ermel Mayor (drums), Miquel Sospedra (bass), Ricard Sohn (piano and keyboard), Pep Garau (trumpet) and Tomeu Garcias (trombone).
With only 13, Xarim Aresté (Flix, 1983) created his first punk band, Ratera. Then came other projects such as Pantanito and Very Pomelo, with which he released three albums of rock. In recent years he has also collaborated with artists such as Maika Makovsky, Paul Fuster, Gerard Quintana, Sanjosex or the renewed Sopa de Cabra.
In 2013 he published his first solo album, Lladregots, and a year later La Rosada (BankRobber), which has received the Enderrock 2016 Critics Award for best album of pop-rock. Other awards include the 2015 Award Cerverí for the lyrics of the song A l’universi li sua and the Award Altaveu 2015.
