Xin Wang & Florian Koltun

The penultimate proposal of the XLIV Deià International Music Festival is this piano concert for four hands by the duo formed by Xin Wang (China) and Florian Koltun (Germany).

At just seven years old, Xin Wang won the special prize at the China National Piano Competition and since then her career has been unstoppable. She is founder and artistic director of the international piano festival in the German city of Geilenkirchen.

For his part, Florian Koltun studied at the music university in Cologne and started working as a concert performer at the age of 14, after winning several prizes in the Jugend Musiziert competition.

The XLIV Deià International Music Festival is held from June 2 to September 29 with concerts at its various venues: Son Marroig (Deià), Sineu, Sa Bassa Rotja (Porreres) and Palau March (Palma). This year the Caló de s'Oli auditorium in Ibiza is also incorporated with a benefit concert for APNEEF. The pianist Alfredo Oyágüez Montero is its artistic director.
