A total of 19 scenic proposals of the art of manipulation, from 18 different companies, will be able to be seen from September 21 to 27 in the new edition of the Festival Internacional de Teatre de Teresetes de Mallorca. An edition marked by the postponement imposed by the state of alarm, which prevented it from being held as every year in the month of May, and the effort of the organization to restructure the programming, which has led to a more condensed festival with more local presence.

Fifteen municipalities participate in the XXII International Teresetes Theater Festival in Mallorca, with a total of 43 company performances from Germany, France, Italy, Madrid, Catalonia and the Balearic Islands. The 19 scenic proposals cover the whole range of the genre, from puppet theater to objects, shadows and associated arts, where avant-garde works are mixed with more traditional proposals. A repertoire of shows for all audiences, for children and families, young people and adults. In addition to the performances, the XXII Festival Internacional de Teatre de Teresetes de Mallorca programs a series of parallel activities such as professional days, training workshops, social puppets and school sessions.

In Palma, the nerve center of this edition are the marquee set up in Plaça Major, the patio de la Misericòrdia, Catalina Valls Municipal Theater, Teatro Principal, Teatro Sans and Can Balaguer.

The rest of the municipalities are Alaró, Alcúdia, Algaida, Andratx, Campos, Costitx, Inca, Muro, Petra, Pollença, Porreres, Sa Pobla, Ses Salines and Sineu.

All representations and activities follow current Covid 19 prevention and safety protocols, both in access, hygiene and reduced capacity. As a security measure, in this edition all activities will have to be reserved and / or purchased in advance.
