Held since 1979 convened by the City of Costitx. It's with free choice of theme and is open to artists of all nationalities. It consists of three cash prizes, awarded each year in late December. In addition, the first prize also implies an exhibition of works by the artist, which is mounted to coincide with the patron saint festivities in September.
