Since its creation in 2003, by the current artistic director Toyo Masanori Tanaka, it is one of the musts in autumn for music lovers. Scheduled are around five concerts between October and November, mostly in the Teatre Principal of Palma.
They cover both classical and opera music, inviting international performers and formations as well as local artists. One of the features of this festival is that it offers master classes in singing, involving young people of all nationalities with teachers like René Killo, Siegfried Jerusalem and Sylvia Greenberg. Within the festival programming a concert by young talents is included.
