The plaça Major, and the environmental park of Can Cirera Prim, are the sceneries of the concerts, programmed on this festival during the month of August since 1995. In parallel, different activities related to jazz are developed, such as photography exhibitions, seminars, films, etc. All activities are free, although in recent years a donation is requested to help with local charity projects. It always offers a select lineup, in which have performed people like John Zorn and Nicholas Payton.
