Patron Saint of Capdepera, Hope is a hugely venerated virgin by the inhabitant of the village. According to the legend, this virgin defended the population of the village form a pirate attack, thanks to a mysterious and providential fog. That is why, each year the image of the virgin is carried in procession to the Castle of Capdepera. The celebrations last for several days, with a program of cultural and leisure activities.
