On the third Sunday of September, the village of Petra, celebrates this festival in honor of Fray Junípero Serra, Mallorcan missionary founder of several missions in the High California that later gave place to cities like San Francisco, San Diego or Los Angeles. A chariots parade stages allegorical motives of the figure of the beat and passes through the streets of the village from the church up to the monument dedicated to Juníper Serra, where children and girls, dressed in the Majorcan typical suit, carry out a floral gift.
