Since its inception in 1996, the Fira de Teatre de Manacor is one of the main events of the Balearic performing arts and a national reference of theater in the Catalan language. Many companies use the fair to display their latest creations to an audience of fans and a large number of theatre programmers. It is held in autumn, between October and November, with performances almost daily from one to four shows per day.
