This is the second edition of this curious film shows, the only one in Europe which has as a central theme the sea. MareMostra Ocean International Film Festival has seven sections this year: Sea & Gastronomy, Sea & Activism, Sea & Science, Balearic Sea, Sea & Sport, Sea & Commercial Film and Maremonstruo. There will be six prizes for the winning films.
It starts on May 4 with a gala at the Teatre Principal de Palma at 21:00 h. The projections of the twenty films and documentaries that participate in the festival will be carried out in the Aljub de Es Baluard and at CineCiutat (May 8). In parallel there will be numerous activities and every day, from 19:00 to 22:00 h. in the outer courtyard of Es Baluard, music with the resident DJ of the festival and a guest DJ for each session.
MareMostra 2013 is organized by Sol Works, IDIMAR and CLAB, with the participation of ES Baluard, Fundación Palma Turismo 365 and PalmaActiva.
