The 2026 line-up features ZWIRN, an Austrian party and après-ski band with over 3,500 concerts; Happy Bavarians, a Munich showband with traditional brass, alphorn and Schuhplattler; Mallorca-based schlager singer Mia Weber; and Lola, a familiar voice at the big Oktoberfests. More bands, DJs and shows will be announced.

Whole grilled pork knuckle, half spit-roast chicken, Leberkäse, Weisswurst with pretzel, Obatzda and Kaiserschmarrn for dessert, plus vegetarian options. To drink, litre Maß steins of original Hofbräu from Munich.

There will be a dirndl contest, judged on outfit, accessories and a properly tied bow, and a special surprise with FC Germania Mallorca, the island's first German football club.

The line-up mixes rock, indie, punk, folk, Brazilian rhythms, pop and electronic music, with acts such as Dan Peralbo i el Comboi, Cucorba Rock, Forró do Pulpo, Rissaga, La Belle Époque, Daltònic, Conte Contat, Anís, Ánimos Parrec, Las Maltitas, Perras Callejeras and Miki x Krls, among others. More artists will be announced in the coming weeks.

🎨 The first Mostra d'Art

The big news this year is the Mostra d'Art, the first art exhibition organised by Muro Town Council. Up to 50 artists show painting, sculpture, printmaking, photography, illustration, video art, performance and installations in the old school building and its courtyards. The theme is open, and the works are selected by a panel made up of an artist, a cultural manager and the council's Culture Department.

The aim is to bring art closer to the public: the works are not for sale during the exhibition, they are there to be seen and enjoyed.

He XVII Pianino Festival It continues with one of its most emotional events: the recital by the Austrian pianist Martin Nöbauer, dedicated to the anniversary of the death of Frédéric Chopin.

The music will once again play in the historic Chopin and George Sand's Cell, where the composer found inspiration during his stay in Mallorca.

🎹 A recital on an authentic Pleyel from 1851

Martin Nöbauer will perform the repertoire in a original Pleyel piano from 1851, an instrument that preserves the delicate timbre and richness of nuances that Chopin so admired.

A specialist in historical interpretation and renowned for his refined technique, Nöbauer will offer an intimate and authentic reading of the Polish composer's work, bringing the public closer to the original sound of Romanticism.

CaixaForum Palma Microconcerts

CaixaForum Palma's Micro-Concerts offer a unique way to enjoy live music through small-scale performances that bring the audience closer to the artists in an intimate setting. This series features a carefully curated selection of musical acts spanning various genres and styles, providing an opportunity to discover new talent and experience music from a more personal perspective. The program includes concerts ranging from jazz and classical to electronic, folk, and other contemporary music.

The concerts are held at CaixaForum Palma, a cultural space committed to bringing music and the arts to the public through high-quality programming. The series will run until November 28, 2026.

📖 About the concert

Elgar wrote his Cello Concerto in 1919, just after the First World War: an intimate, melancholic work that has become a cornerstone of the repertoire. It is performed by Kian Soltani, one of the most outstanding cellists of his generation.

After the interval, Also sprach Zarathustra, Richard Strauss's tone poem inspired by Nietzsche, whose opening sunrise became world-famous through 2001: A Space Odyssey.

Guitarist José María Gallardo performs Joaquín Rodrigo's Concierto de Aranjuez, with its unforgettable Adagio, alongside Diamantes para Aranjuez, his own work in dialogue with Rodrigo's score.

Italian conductor Gianna Fratta completes the programme with Ravel's Alborada del gracioso, a colourful vision of Spain seen from France, and a selection from Albéniz's Suite española.

📖 About the concert

British trombonist Ian Bousfield, former principal trombone of the Vienna Philharmonic, is the soloist in Tapias by Valencian composer Francisco Coll and in a tribute to Glenn Miller and Tommy Dorsey, two trombone legends of the swing era.

Under Guillermo García Calvo, the orchestra opens with Gershwin's festive Cuban Overture and closes with a selection from Prokofiev's Romeo and Juliet, including the famous Dance of the Knights.

📖 About the concert

Haydn premiered The Creation in Vienna in 1798, inspired by the Handel oratorios he had heard in London. From the famous burst of light at the beginning to the song of Adam and Eve, the work depicts the days of creation with extraordinary orchestral imagination.

Pablo Mielgo conducts the orchestra, the Coral Universitat Illes Balears and soloists Irene Mas, David Alegret and José Antonio López. A perfect concert to begin December.

Italian conductor Lorenzo Passerini opens with Rossini's William Tell Overture and closes with Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 2, known as the “Little Russian” for the Ukrainian folk melodies that run through it.

Seville-born pianist Juan Floristán performs Béla Bartók's Piano Concerto No. 3, composed in 1945 as a gift for his wife and completed almost on his deathbed: the Hungarian composer's most serene and luminous work.

Polish conductor Michał Nesterowicz then leads Scheherazade, Rimsky-Korsakov's symphonic suite based on the Thousand and One Nights, with the solo violin giving voice to the storyteller.
