The Fundació Amics del Patrimoni organizes this conference by the architect Antoni Vilanova, president of the Group of Architects for the Defense and Intervention in the Architectural Heritage of the College of Architects of Catalonia.
In 2016 he received the Europa Nostra Award for the National Energy Museum in Ponferrada and in 2021 for the rehabilitation of the Torre de las Aguas del Besòs in Barcelona.
In 2008 he won the City of Barcelona Prize for Architecture and Urbanism for the restoration of Ca l'Aranyó for the UPF in Barcelona and in 2012 the European Award for Architectural Heritage Intervention AADIP for the Special Plan for the Historic Complex of Cadaqués. That same year he received the FAD Prize for Thought and Criticism for the book La Barcelona de ferro. A propòsit de Torras Guardiola and in 2014 the Guillem Sagrera Prize for Architecture Ciutat de Palma for the restoration of the Can Ribas complex in Palma.
