The Chamber Film Orchestra, led by violinist Smerald Spahiu, offers the work of Antonio Vivaldi in its original version. The program also consists of Pachelbel Canon and a selection of works by other great composers of baroque music.
The originality of this concert of The Four Seasons is based on its visual component, since the music will be accompanied by the projection of photographs of different parts of Mallorca in each season, which will help to understand the sentiment expressed by the composer.
Le Quattro Stagioni (original title in Italian) is a book of four concerts for violin, orchestra and harpsichord which describes, through the elements of musical language, the four seasons of the year. They belong to Il Cimento Dell'armonia E Dell'inventione, a set of twelve concertos written by Antonio Vivaldi between 1723 and 1725.
