Nicolas Pecollo directs the adaptation of this emblematic work by the Irish playwright Samuel Beckett (1906-1989), winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1969.
Esperando a Godot (Waiting for Godot) is a work that belongs to the theater of the absurd. In it, two vagabonds, Gogo and Didi, await the arrival of Godot, with whom they are supposed to have an appointment. Meanwhile, they exchange absurd conversations, in which there is always the hope that Godot will appear at any moment, which never happens. The plot symbolizes the meaninglessness of human life, a recurring theme of existentialism.
Interpreters: Marga Rosello Moll, Zuria Quirante, Juan José Novo and Carlos Ledezma.
