To commemorate the 125th anniversary of the birth of the French composer Francis Poulenc, Euroclàssics presents this production that includes two of his works and is part of the 6th MallorÒpera Festival.
The concert begins with Historia de Babar, for narrator and piano: a reference story that Poulenc set to music based on a tale by Jean de Brunhoff.
It will continue with the Aubade choreographic concert for piano and 18 instruments accompanied by dance and narration by Toni Gomila, who tells the story of the goddess Diana who inspired Poulenc's work based on a text by Catalina Florit.
