The Mallorcan company Morgana Teatre returns with this Shakespearean classic directed by Juan Enrique Ramón Balcells. Although faithful to the original text it is presented in a small format - reduced to five characters, with a quicker pace and an updated language.
Macbeth, one of the best known works of William Shakespeare, is a tragedy that speaks of betrayal and greed. The work is a free version of the life of Macbeth, who was King of the Scots between 1040 and 1057. Shakespeare used as his main inspiration the Chronicles of Raphael Holinshed, published in 1587. Of this he extracted the arguments of all his historical works.
