The 9th edition of the Jazz Voyeur Festival includes a series of Cinema & Jazz held from November 12 to 15 with four interesting proposals. The first is this documentary about the life of pianist and composer Michel Petrucciani (1962-1999).
Despite a serious illness that affected him for life - osteogenesis imperfecta by which he barely reached a meter tall, Petrucciani became one of the leading jazz pianists in jazz history, thanks to his extraordinary technique and a strong beat.
The documentary, from 2011, is directed by screenwriter and film director Michael Radford (Neva Delhi, 1946), who makes a portrait of the musician through interviews and archival footage.
The films are shown in their original language with subtitles in Castilian, Catalan and French.
