Coinciding with the reopening of the Espai Estrella of the Moneo Building, headquarters of the Fundació Miró Mallorca, this temporary exhibition is inaugurated that presents a vision of the collection in relation to the SonBoter studio, designed by the Catalan architect Josep Lluís Sert in 1956.
Structured around groups made up of a selection of works that define the same project and accompanied by graphic support that reveals their presence within the space, with which they formed an indivisible whole.
The exhibition halls, including Son Boter, become a transcript of Miró's creative process, from the first drawing to the finished work.
El Miró de Son Boter presents 88 works made between 1960 and 1979 that include paintings, monotypes, graphites, sculptures, preparatory objects, drawings and annotations, objects and remnants and photographic reproductions.
