Curated by Albert Pinya in collaboration with Fernando Gómez de la Cuesta, Ferran Cano presents this solo exhibition of the young Italian artist Laurina Paperina (Rovereto, 1980) under the title of Spaceballs.
We are facing a multidisciplinary artist who uses her creativity for painting, drawing, sculpture, installation, video animations and photography.
Held within the frame of the II Festival Miradas de Mujeres de Mallorca (II Festival Views of Women from Mallorca), organized by the association Mujeres en las Artes Visuales (MAV)( Women in the Visual Arts) with activities throughout the month of March. Nearly thirty spaces around the island have joined the initiative, which has more than fifty participants including artists, curators and lecturers.
The festival aims to get the exposure and spread the work carried out by women in the art world in Spain deserves. It is celebrated simultaneously in the rest of the autonomous communities.
