An impeccably animated film that actually documents the journey of one of the directors of the film, Jung Henin, to his native Korea to learn the intricacies of his adoption and the culture of his country, At age 42, Jung, was adopted at age five by a Belgian family, takes a physical and emotional journey back to childhood, reconciliation with his roots and the discovery of his true identity.
He directs the film along with Laurent Boileau, whose passion for comics and graphic arts has led him to make several films on the subject. Meanwhile, Jung Henin started in the world of illustration with drawing of articles and magazine covers. In 2001 he published his first work, a comic autobiography in black and white on which is based Una lliço de vida. The film is offered in the original French version subtitled in Catalan.
