Concert by the virtuoso Mallorcan violinist Francisco García Fullana (Palma, 1990) in the courtyard of the Centre Cultural la Misericòrdia within the Symphonic Summers organized by the Fundació Orquestra Simfònica Illes Balears.
Francisco Fullana debuted at age 9 as a soloist with the Balearic Symphony Orchestra and at 15 dazzled audiences and critics at the Auditorio Nacional de Música in Madrid, where he played with a Stradivarius of 1713 that had belonged to Pablo de Sarasate.
After winning the ‘Pablo de Sarasate’ National Violin Prize in 2006, he began his international projection and in 2012 he won the First Atlantic Symphony Concerto Competition and Special Audience Award in Boston.
The program of this concert consists of Serenade no. 6, 'Serenata notturna', by Wolfgang A. Mozart; Violin Concerto 'Grosso Mogul' RV 208, by Antonio Vivaldi; and Divertimento for string orchestra, by Béla Bartók
