One of the most popular activities that take place in Palma is this photo contest which is on its way to its 30th edition. The 30th Palma Fotogràfica held last January 24 coinciding, as usual, with the festivities of San Sebastian.
This exhibition now shows images taken by participants during the day, both the awarded as well as a selection of photographs of the six items allocated this year by the organization: A story in a photo, Terreno neighbourhood, Geometry of the city, Photos of elevators, Floors and People and Women in Palma.
The first prize is for the best collection of photos. artsMallorca.com collaborates with the 30th Palma Fotogràfica delivering one of the prizes.
The opening of 30th Palma Fotogràfica is held on Tuesday, March 8 at 19:00 in the courtyard of the Casal Solleric. After the award ceremony there will be a little agape courtesy of Bodegas de Binissalem Ca'n Verdura and Palma Verde Café. Acting will be the group Banasanou, with the master of African percussion Seydou Sissokho.
