Edicions 6a Obra Gràfica joins the II Festival Miradas de Mujer(II Festival Views of Women) with an exhibition of the Swedish artist Alona Vinc. The lithographs share space with photographs and drawings and some elements of visual language. Since January, the artist works in Taller 6ª (the 6th workshop) to become familiar with the lithographic art by the hand of maestro Xisco Caimari.
Vinç has dedicated herself in this work to investigate the relationships between the human body, gender and sexual choices in people of different generations. Her work focuses on the function of roles in today's society.
The Festival Miradas de Mujeres (Views of Woman) is organized by the Asociation Mujeres en las Artes Visuales (MAV) (Women in the Visual Arts) and aims to get the exposure and spread the work carried out by women in the world of art in Spain deserves. On the island they have joined the initiative, with more than fifty participants, artists, curators and lecturers.
