After four years without releasing an album, in April 2011 the Majorcan band reappeared with Lamparetes, considered by national critics as one of the best of the year and this September it has gone gold reaching 20,000 copies sold. Contains songs like Clint Eastwood (tribute to actor and film director), Abraham Lincoln, Carreteres, que no van enlloc or Islas Baleares, a theme that stylistically touches on reggae.
Now, the group led by guitarist Joan Miquel Oliver present their new work to be published in October, in a kind of public rehearsal prior to its release. In it they stay faithful to their strong pop style and a narrative full of fantasy where they talk about astronauts, fabulous trips, ideal worlds, but also of everyday life and home.
Forman quintet: Joan Miquel Oliver (guitar), in which also form part Pau Debon (vocals), Pere Manel Debon (drums), Joan Roca (bass) and Jaume Manresa (keyboards).
