The last concert of the Ciclo de Grandes Pianistas (Cycle of Great Pianists) is also one of the most anticipated of the season, the appointment with the Russian pianist Arcadi Volodos (St. Petersburg, 1972). Considered as the new Horowitz, he brings together virtuosity, intelligence, depth and an unmistakable personality.
Volodos, who for years has resided in Madrid, is renowned for his technique and his skill in interpreting the virtuosic repertoire and his schedule includes concerts and recording projects.
In Palma he offers a program composed of works by Schumann, Brahms and Schubert:
