Bastille is an independent synthpop group formed in London un 2010. It is led by singer-songwriter Dan Smith, who shares the project with Chris 'Woody' Wood (keyboards), Will Farquarson (guitar) and Kyle Simmons (drums and percussion).
In 2011 they debuted with the single Flaws, participating at the most important festivals in the UK. In 2013 they have released their first album, Bad Blood (EMI / Virgin), with which they won the award for Best British Breakthrough Artist at the Brit Awards 2014. They have influences from New Order and Depeche Mode, among other groups in the current scene.
