The Catalan company of Roser López Espinosa presents two totally different dance pieces. In Before We Fall, which lasts fifteen minutes, she weaves a balancing game to avoid falling. There is a mix of swing, fast leaks and shared architectures.
Miniatura consists of small things, portraits and manipulations expressed in just over half an hour. Into play will be coming the body, dance, video, music and theater space. The dancers put themselves in the shoes of the figures on the old music boxes and women with sober looks of the old portraits. The proposal won the third prize at the XXIV Madrid Choreography Competition 2010.
Roser López (Granollers, 1980) is considered one of the five most promising young choreographers from the Spanish scene according to the dance magazine Susy-Q in 2010.
