This Scottish alternative rock band was formed in 1995 by Simon Neil (guitar, vocals) and the brothers James Johnston (bass, vocals) and Ben Johnston (drums, vocals). They achieved great success with the release of their fourth album, Puzzle (2007), which was Gold in the UK.
This year they have been nominated for the NME 2013 - the awards that summoned by this British magazine specialized in music - in the categories of Best British Band and Best Live Band. They have also released their sixth and final studio album, Opposites, which they now present in Mallorca Rocks and August in the Reading and Leeds Festival held in England.
Biffy Clyro's influences range from bands like Metallica to progressive rock legends, but appreciated are also grunge sounds that remind us of Nirvana and Foo Fighters.
